The background
Melanie MacDonald held a leadership role in the pharmaceutical industry as a quality assurance manager at GlaxoSmithKline, responsible for compliance and for releasing product to sale. In that role, a missed detail is not a bug ticket. It is a batch that cannot ship, or worse. That is where the studio's respect for the last five percent comes from.
She went on to spend two decades in Australia's regulated training sector, growing a company into the BRW Fast 100, and served on the Queensland Government's Ministerial Advisory Council for Science and Technology. Across all of it, the common thread was the same: operations that have to be right, and the compliance that proves it.
Charter Studio is the next step. It brings that operator-first background to building the workflow software those industries run on, with the trust signals the work demands.
